Born in Milan in 1977, Alessandro graduated with honors in Economics of Financial Markets and Institutions at Bocconi University in 2001; Alessandro began is career working as Equity Sales for Euromobiliare SIM one of Italy’s oldest and most respected brokerage houses, enjoying the development of new products targeting new customers. He completed his Masters in Business Administration at Columbia Business School in New York in 2006 then joining Bain & Company as a consultant. At Bain & Company Alessandro worked in wide range of industries (industrial, energy, consumer goods, financial services, automotive) with engagement such as strategic & turnaround planning, supply chain optimization, business due diligence, and competitive strategy assessment. Alessandro joined dPixel in 2008 and worked with both dealflow scouting and portfolio companies’ operational improvement, he now sits on Iubenda and Ibrii’s board of directors. Alessandro led company’s work with Telecom Italia corporate venture capital program able to scout 3000+ deals in the 2009-2011 timeframe. Alessandro speaks both English and Italian, enjoys riding his motorbike in the spare time and is a VP of NOVA-MBA, the association grouping Italians with MBA from US top school. Alessandro recently launched the Fondazione Lorenzo Santo for the promotion of entrepreneurship in Italy.
